- Substance and Shadow theatre held a charity auction, quiz and raffle in October 3016 to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of Rosie’s mother, who died of MND in 2007. We are pleased to say through the kindness of donations from celebrities, local businesses and artists we raised a whopping £1,243.33!!!!

An Eye for An Eye was the first play that Midge and Rosie Mullin wrote, after Louis Ravensfield (Director of EAT – Exeter Alternative Theatre) offered up the opportunity for an original play to be part of his 2010 Halloween Grand Guignol horror bonanza at the Barnfield Theatre.
An eminent anthropologist returns home to England after stealing a stone of great spiritual significance to an African tribe. The cataclysmic consequences are truly terrifying.
